CREATIVE WRITING
WHY CHOOSE CREATIVE WRITING?
From a tender age of 10, I wrote my own stories and poetry. Writing has always been of interest to me. I have always been able to express my thoughts and feelings with a pen and paper from a young age. It is this reason, why I chose to use Creative Writing as a medium of expression for the exhibition.
INTENDED AUDIENCE RESPONSE?
I understand that many people may not fully appreciate or understand the use of words as a form of art, but I strongly believe, that writing and reading as just as strong mediums of creativity that drawing or painting. It is due to this thought pattern, that I intend to present the works of creative writing alongside the 15 photographic images. The combination of both styles of presentation should prove attractive and aesthetically pleasing, as the audience have an image to match the one constructed in their minds after reading the paragraphs.
